I want to be honest with you: Though making money is not the goal of this blog, I do have a couple of strategies in place to bring in a couple of dollars.
My goal is to provide quality content and highlight resources that will equip others to become more effective followers of Jesus. I receive affiliate commissions on some products and on books I review (through the Amazon affiliates program) and in the past I have done a couple of sponsored posts and giveaways. However, you can rest assured that anything I highlight or promote here at nathancreitz.net comes with the following promises:
- I never promote or highlight a product or book that does not equip my readers to fulfill the mission.
- If I receive a free product, I cannot guarantee that I will review the product or that my review will be 100% positive in nature; I promise to provide a fair and honest assessment or review. My loyalty is to my readers, not to a company or publisher.
- I retain the right to provide advertising and sponsorship on my blog with partners and authors I highly trust and gladly recommend.
- I promote affiliate partner businesses that are relevant to my readers (ie books on Amazon).
- Any money I net through blogging will first be used to offset the costs of blogging and then used to support my family so that we can continue as missionaries in New York.
- I tithe+ through my local church on all my sources of income and encourage all followers of Jesus to do the same.
I am disclosing this information because I believe it is ethical and it is respectful to my readers. It is also in compliance with the FTC Ruling for Bloggers.
Thank you so much for supporting my ministry through your support of this blog (comments, clicks, links, shares, likes, tweets, subscriptions, etc.) Without your support, this blog wouldn’t be a source of encouragement and equipping to others as they pursue Jesus’ mission with Jesus’ means.
Thanks again!
P.S. The money I make on this blog supplements my “real job” (barely). You can find out more about that by subscribing to my disciple making email updates. If you’d like me to come and speak for your church or ministry, check out my speaking page.
